Terms of Service
Last updated June 30, 2026. StaveWave provides sheet-music OCR, MusicXML conversion, and review tools to help you prepare and check scores.
No perfect-conversion guarantee
Optical music recognition can miss notes, rhythms, lyrics, articulations, layout, and structural details. You are responsible for reviewing exports before using them in performance, publication, teaching, or production.
Your files and rights
Upload only files you own, created, licensed, or otherwise have permission to process. Do not use StaveWave to infringe copyright or circumvent rights-management measures.
Acceptable use
Do not submit malware, unlawful content, private records, or files intended to disrupt the service. StaveWave may limit, remove, or block usage that harms the service or other users.
Review obligation
Validation warnings, confidence notes, and review records are aids, not guarantees. Always compare important MusicXML output against the source score.
